01. The Genesis

HCC started with a conviction.

Early in his career, Henry Chamberlain, founder of HCC, worked in environments where performance was driven by pressure, hierarchy, and, at times, fear.

He found himself asking a simple question: what would it look like to build an organisation where people truly thrive?

At the same time, he had seen what was possible. In the military, working with a small team of passionate organisational development specialists, he experienced what it looks like when people are deeply engaged in meaningful work—so much so that they had to be reigned in, rather than pushed to do more.

HCC was built at the intersection of those two experiences.
